Bay Tranquility

This is in Anchorage Marina, Vancouver Island. Our winters are usually very foggy and bring in a sense of calm throughout the island. I painted this marina on one foggy morning and wanted to capture the tranquility of nature and the reflections of the trees and colors in the water. It started with plein air for a few sessions and then got completed in the studio!
