Cattails and Snow New Mexico Style

An early snowfall while the fall colors still existed created an inspiration for this work. The cool colors of the snow offset by the warmth of the cattails and grasses in the snow made for a pleasing visual . This was painted in oil on a gallery wrap cotton canvas , allowing for the painting to extend around all sides.
