Buoys and Ropes

This is a studio painting from photo on a plein air trip. These neon orange buoys are some of those used by the Simmons Lobster Company in Friendship, Maine. I think I decided to do this scene because I wanted to push myself and see what happened when I tried to show neon colors. I am happy with it. You can't get much brighter than this!
