Home tells the story

Acrylic on wood panel 24" x 24" x 1/4". Home...tells the story / inspiration was the wives, moms and dads, the children waiting for that letter from their loved one serving in the military overseas. The mailbox represents the communication part . I remember my mother always waiting for the postman to deliver mail, hoping to hear from my father who was serving in vietnam ( twice) and Korea ( twice ). Yes , we were a military family. This painting also brings out the Rural America.
