Crisscross

I captured the crisscrossing of the clouds and this moored sailboat mast on a sunset walk at low tide on Cape Cod. The crisscross pattern and the boat led me to think of Chris Cross, Christopher Cross, that is, and his song “Sailing”. He has described the song's meaning and sailing as a metaphor, the song is really about the transition you experience through art. The canvas can indeed do miracles.
