Prescott Nocturne

Downtown Prescott, Arizona is known for its large town green that has music and art festivals. We walked into this sparkling scene one Friday evening. Lights from a gazebo cast a twinkling blue haze over sidewalks throughout the square, highlighting people and dogs enjoying the night air. It seemed like a perfect scene for a Nocturne painting, depicting some simple pleasures in life. I took many photos and painted it later in my studio.
