Outdoor study done in Taos New Mexico. This is the studio garden of Edgar Irving Couse who was founding member of the Taos society of Artists.The vibrant colors and variety of plants in this garden inspired me. I felt the stone patio greys provided a cool contrast to the warmer hues of the flowers, creating a nice composition.
