Awakening

My intension was to capture the bright and dark side of the forest with raking sunlight and to make you want to enter the opening of light. After I loosely applied the bright pastel background, I used a 3" brush and water to liquify the pigment. Then I began adding the trees and ground. Making such big marks was freeing.
