Winter on the Farm

I painted “Winter on the Farm” from within my car across the street from the gorgeous white barns of South Farms, a cattle farm in East Morris, Connecticut. It was too cold to paint outside en plein air; it was only in the mid-teens. I chose the perfect time of day to catch lovely shadows cast across the buildings and the landscape.
